Apple Stores to refuse to repair ‘stolen’ iPhones ?

Rumors are that Apple Stores will now be informed if an iPhone has been reported missing when the device id brought into be repaired / serviced.

The Apple Technician will decline the repair, reducing the amount of stolen iPhones brought in.

The information comes from the GSMA Device Registr, a global database designed for Customers to report their device as missing. If Find My iPhone is enabled, then Apple cannot service the iPhone anyway. This new policy would help prevent stolen iPhones that have the feature disabled from being repaired.

Rumor at the moment according to MacRumors, but makes sense to us..!
