So EE are planning to upgrade its 4G network in more than 2000 rural UK areas by mid 2024. This is all part of the Government Shared Rural Network (SRN) programme.
The SRN is a £1.3bn programme, first proposed in Oct 2019. The aim of the programme is to wipe out dead spots in the UK, and provide high-quality $G coverage to 95% of the UK by 2025.
The SRN is made possible through a partnership between EE, O2, Three, and Vodafone.
